MY STORY
Coming from a background in hospitality and public relations, spending years creating and planning elaborate and beautiful events, I fell passionately right into creating, planning and cooking for our family of five, twenty years ago. As my children have grown and have started the process of moving out, the desire to serve outside of the home in a meaningful way felt like my next calling. Out of my love for teaching and cooking for my children all of these years, came the idea of this special cookery school. I am thankful to have found much purpose in introducing children (and their families) to the joy of cooking and its profound, long lasting effects. To quote a friend, “continuing to fill little minds with the good, the true and the beautiful” that’s my calling!
Carol Colon Turner is a professional, certified Cuisine Chef and Instructor. She has a degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute in London, United Kingdom, and a degree in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Clay, her three children, Gabriel, Jude and Sarah Kate, and her beloved Golden Retriever, Georgie.
